Someone not familiar with the mythology and the language used I did not understand most of the terms. But what lacked for me was a glossary, most of the terms are never explained and leave you like a fish out of water. The world building is nice and complex, the terrain is vast and has a lot of monsters and creatures in the works. The “tainted” are enslaved and sold, bought by Jarls, warbands, and well, anyone who can afford them. It does not hesitate to kill a lot of characters. ![]() This books is filled with war, and is bloody to its core. Interwoven with a deep trove of Norse mythology, in the shadow of the new world, every one is super thirsty for battle flame. ![]()
